- IrfanView * is a graphic viewer program for Windows. It supports a number of graphic, audio and video formats.
- GIMP is a free software program for photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.
- Cool Ruler
is a ruler for your Windows screen. This tool is handy for measuring web
graphics on the screen.
Note: on their site is says System Requirement - Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000. I have used it on Windows XP and it works fine.

- Color Schemer - Online Color Scheme Generator An online colour scheme tool. You can enter a colour number or select a colour shown on the palette.
- Color scheme Another online colour scheme generator. This one uses a colour wheel as the starting point. Click a colour in the colour wheel and a colour scheme will appear. There is also an option to view the colour scheme in different types of vision.
- ColorPix A free* colour picker program for grabbing the colour of an item on your screen. The program transforms the colour selected into different colour formats.
